How Winners Are Selected
All entries will first be evaluated by the jury panel. The Top 10 finalists will then be shortlisted for public voting. Final scores combine jury evaluation and public votes.

The contest is open exclusively to Mauritian citizens who are currently residing in the Republic of Mauritius. Participation can be individual or as a group, provided all members meet these citizenship and residency requirements.
No. To protect the local focus of the vision, participation is reserved for Mauritian citizens who are physically and legally residing within the Republic of Mauritius at the time of entry.
No. Based on the updated criteria, this contest is restricted to Mauritian citizens only.
Yes. Participants must provide their Mauritian National Identity Card number in the submission form. The Organizer reserves the right to request physical proof of citizenship and local residence before any prize is awarded; failure to provide this will lead to immediate disqualification.
There is no specific age limit, but participants under the age of 18 must obtain written parental or legal guardian consent to join.
You must select exactly one (1) sub-theme for your AI video creation from the following four pillars:
- Nou Lanatir, Nou Lavenir (Environment): Focus on climate action, waste reduction, and nature preservation.
- Mo Kartié, Mo Futir (Community): Focus on cleanliness, clean energy, neighborhood life, and living together.
- Enn lePep An Form (Health): Focus on sports, well-being, and healthy eating.
- Moris Digital (Innovation): Focus on using digital technology to simplify daily life.
Submissions must be made via the official online form. You must provide a functional link (YouTube/Vimeo set to "Unlisted" or a Cloud storage service like Google Drive). Direct file uploads to the form are not permitted.
Submissions open on April 13, 2026, at 17:00 and close on May 4, 2026, at 22:00. No modifications or entries will be accepted after this deadline.
The selection is a two-stage process:
- Stage 1 (Jury - 70%): A jury evaluates entries based on storytelling (30 pts), creativity (20 pts), and technical AI quality (20 pts) to select 10 finalists.
- Stage 2 (Public - 30%): The 10 finalists are submitted to a public vote for the remaining points.
You retain intellectual property ownership. However, by entering, you grant Mauritius Telecom a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and transferable license to use, reproduce, and broadcast your video for promotional purposes without any time limit.
You may not publish or broadcast your entry on any platform until the official results are announced. Finalists are only permitted to share the version published on Mauritius Telecom’s official platforms.
Only one (1) prize is awarded per winning video entry, regardless of whether it was a group or individual submission. No additional prizes or claims for group members will be accepted.
